Out-of-School Time Impact Group COVID-19 Call Series

Join the GFE Out-of-School Time Impact Group for an ongoing conversation centered on learning about the impacts of COVID-19 on the out-of-school time sector and how funders can respond. Each video call will highlight at least one focus area and feature experts in the sector and philanthropy.

  • Next call July 17Supporting Leadership of Color in the Afterschool Sector: Progress Report from the National Afterschool Association. With support from the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, in January 2020 NAA launched the Building Capacity for Leaders of Color Initiative, focused on intentionally and effectively building a leadership pipeline for people of color in the field. NAA launched a professional learning community for emerging leaders of color and published an initial report outlining recommendations for organizations to identify and address systemic barriers to hiring and supporting leaders of color. Join us to discuss early results and what’s next for the project with:
