Registration is now full for our member briefing focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). This briefing is designed as a day-and-a-half gathering for grantmakers who are currently funding in STEM and who are looking both to advance their knowledge of the field while also deepening their relationships with colleagues working in this field. During the briefing, we will: - Identify research-based best practices in STEM-education programming
- Name the elements of a successful STEM education proposal
- Identify and explore high-impact funding opportunities in STEM education
- Strategize on how to advance STEM-related public policy

Keynoting the briefing will be Kathryn D. Sullivan, Ph.D., the first American woman to walk in space and the director of the Battelle Center for Mathematics and Science Education Policy. Dr. Sullivan brings a lifetime of experience, expertise and passion for STEM, and will offer both a clear and compelling analysis of STEM education and how grantmakers can support this critical effort.
