7/9/2009
Online Web Seminar

Hear the audio presentation of the web seminar!

Thursday, July 9, 2009, 1:00-2:15 pm Eastern Time (10-11:15 am PT)

The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provides significant opportunities for communities to expand and improve out-of-school time programming for children and youth. Join An-Me Chung of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Margo Quiriconi of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and Jennifer Rinehart of the Afterschool Alliance to learn how ARRA dollars can support out-of-school time programs and expanded learning opportunities for children and youth, and the important roles grantmakers can play in ensuring that ARRA funds are used strategically in their communities.

Participation is limited to representatives of grantmaking institutions, philanthropic advisors, and affinity groups. Advance registration is required. If you have any questions about the status of your GFE membership or eligibility to participate in the web seminar, contact Barbara Dibs, member services manager, at barbara@edfunders.org or call 503-595-2100.
