Capital Collaborative Cohort Application

Camelback Ventures

The application period is open for the next Camelback Ventures Capital Collaborative cohort. Camelback Ventures is a nonprofit venture philanthropy focused on entrepreneurs of color and women. The Capital Collaborative is a cohort-based fellowship program run by Camelback and designed for white-identifying leaders in philanthropy and impact investing who want to deepen their personal and professional work on racial equity and racial justice. Capital Collaborative is accepting interest forms now for their fall 2022 cohort! This cohort will run from September 2022 through March 2023, with the first in-person Summit October 12-14th.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through August 31 or until full. Those who are interested should submit an "interest form" as soon as possible in order to secure a spot before the cohort fills up.

We know there are several DEI-focused professional development opportunities available today. So what makes the Capital Collaborative experience unique?
  • It is an extended, immersive experience over 6 months, not just a one-time event.
  • Working in a racial affinity space for white leaders allows us to explore, learn, challenge and support each other, while taking ownership of undoing unequal systems and unlearning our own biases.
  • Being a part of a cohort of senior leaders allows for peer support, relationship building, problem solving, and collaboration among colleagues wrestling with similar issues and responsibilities.
  • The Collaborative provides customized personal and professional growth opportunities. All leaders receive 1:1 coaching throughout the program and engage in design cycles and consultancies to address the specific opportunities and challenges that are most relevant to them.
  • There are a multitude of opportunities for feedback from and relationship building with BIPOC entrepreneurs as part of the Capital Collaborative program.
  • The Collaborative is a great complement to any organization-wide DEI work, allowing individual leaders to deepen their own development and commitment to organizational change.
Camelback Ventures is filling the 2022 Cohort now. You can learn more on the website or by taking a look at this one-pager.  We encourage anyone who would like to learn more about the program to fill out the Interest Form here
