AAPIP 2023 Annual Meeting & Network Convening

Angel Island and San Francisco, CA

At a time when the expanding philanthropic sector is the most diverse, there is still little recognition of the role that Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AA and NH/PIs) play and need to play in successful racial equity strategies. It is time to counteract historic underinvestment in our communities and organize ourselves to effect lasting change in the sector.

Come renew your connections to colleagues while journeying forward through an immersive grounding of how many Asian immigrants were first greeted as newcomers during the Exclusion era; explore themes of detention then and now; preview latest research on the AA and NH/PI nonprofit landscape; participate in timely discussions about building and sustaining racial justice strategies in philanthropy inclusive of AA and NH/PI communities; and much more!
