Out-of-School Time Bimonthly Funder Meetup: December 2023

The skills, attitudes and knowledge of afterschool and youth development staff are the foundation of program quality and the main drivers of youth and program outcomes. Our field faces complex, interrelated and structural challenges to supporting the workforce, including: improving compensation and benefits; increasing access to professional development and career pathways; expanding leadership roles for Black, Indigenous, and other people of color; strengthening the capacity of provider organizations; and catalyzing narrative change about the value and talent of youth workers.
