Public Financing in Times of Uncertainty

With proposed funding eliminations of federal programs including 21st Community Learning Centers, AmeriCorps, Full Service Community Schools, and education funding from the National Science Foundation in addition to other education funding programs, there is much concern about the sustainability of the OST field despite high levels of voter approval. While advocates are working hard to push back on these federal funding threats, it is important to explore other public financing strategies at the state and local level as well as through legal settlements. Join the EdFunders OST Impact Group on June 27th to hear from public financing experts at Children’s Funding Project about how to implement strategic public financing in today’s unique political climate and learn about a potential legal settlement funding opportunity on the horizon.

We deeply appreciate the time and expertise of our speakers! Resources from this meeting are available here. To view the recording, please email: impactgroups@edfunders.org
