A Once-in-a-Generation Opportunity to Expand High-Quality Tutoring for ALL Students

GSV Ventures and Arizona State University

Virtual

As we continue to grapple with the disparate and widespread learning loss COVID has had on students, tutoring has been at the forefront of the conversation. Nationwide efforts to implement high-impact tutoring have emerged center stage as education leaders work to equip schools to close the massive learning gaps that have widened over the last two years. An initiative led by Kevin Huffman, known as Accelerate, has raised $65 Million toward a goal of $100 Million to boost academic achievement for ALL students by embedding high-impact tutoring programs in public schools now and for the long term. As a nation, we are on track to spend as much as $3.6 Billion over the next two years in tutoring.

Join a critical conversation on high-quality tutoring with the former Tennessee Commissioner of Education and the CEO of Accelerate, Kevin Huffman, and the CEO of Hope Chicago and Executive Chair of the Accelerate board, Dr. Janice K. Jackson. GSV Chief People & Impact Officer Tiffany Taylor will moderate the conversation with opening remarks from Deborah Quazzo, Managing Partner of GSV Ventures and Co-founder of the ASU+GSV Summit.
