International Study Tour on the Science of Learning

November 30 - December 4, 2026

Global education progress is significant and offers inspiration, opportunities for impact, and the chance to play a role in global relations. In partnership with the Enfranchisement Foundation and the International Education Funders Group (IEFG), we are thrilled to offer the opportunity to join an international study tour to Paris.

Participants will dive into the evidence of what works to inform a global agenda, learn about parts of France’s global education system, explore evidence-based models grounded in the science of learning, and gain actionable frameworks for integrating AI alongside human-centered pedagogy. Highlights include briefings at the OECD and UNESCO, a visit to the Laboratory for the Study of Child Development and Education (CNRS) at La Sorbonne and bright spots in the Paris area, and connecting with experts around your priorities at the Global Science of Learning Education Network (GSoLEN) and the UNESCO Global Alliance on the Science of Learning for Education (UNGASOL) conference.

This trip is a great fit for grantmakers interested in international funding, deepening their understanding of the science of learning, and translating global lessons into local strategy.
