During this discussion, panelists will go over a variety of topics such as the impact of affirmative action; the role of student loan forgiveness; and strategies for addressing disparities in the justice-impacted community. This discussion will also provide an equity perspective on higher education issues in the prison systems and will give an insight into how and why diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in higher education need to be prioritized for justice-impacted students.
