Winning Sustained Public Financing for Children and Youth Programs: New Learning Cohort with the Children’s Funding Project

Join your peer funders in the EdFunders OST Impact Group for our bimonthly funder-only discussion. As we all look ahead to the American Rescue Plan funding cliff coming in 2024, we are designing a new cohort opportunity for OST funders that will pick up where we left off last year with the Children’s Funding Project (CFP). (Previous participation not required!) In our October discussion, you’ll have a chance to share what you’d like to learn about the role of philanthropy in catalyzing expanded and sustainable public financing for children and youth programs, and you’ll hear about new work that CFP is engaged in, including: 1) facilitating a 15 state cohort focused on fiscal mapping; 2) exploring new strategies to cost-model the true cost of OST; and 3) examining how shared values impact efforts to generate public revenue for kids. Speakers: Elizabeth Gaines and Allie Farrell, Children’s Funding Project.
