Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth in Out-of-School Time Spaces

Join the EdFunders OST Impact Group to discuss how the out-of-school time field can support LGBTQ+ youth. We’ll discuss:

  • The current environment of attacks on LGBTQ+ identities and lives.

  • How adults and peers in out-of-school spaces can provide support.

  • The importance of using an intersectional lens to understand the impact of racial, gender, ethnic, religious and other bias.

  • What funders can do to support youth organizations and the young people they serve.

  • The importance of affirming LGBTQ+ young people’s aspirations, potential, joy, and capacity to thrive.
