View from the Field – Workforce Challenges, Solutions & Policy Implications: Out-of-School Time Monthly Stakeholder Convenings

Grantmakers for Education

In this convening we'll hear about and discuss the urgent challenges youth organizations are facing across the country to recruit and hire high quality staff. We'll also highlight emerging models for addressing these challenges as well as policy implications and opportunities. The conversation will be moderated by Nicole Eovino Diebold, program associate at the CE&S Foundation, and we'll hear from Joanna Dominguez, director of education at People's Self-Help Housing in California and Angelica Portillo, director of advocacy at Dallas Afterschool about staffing challenges and solutions. Then, Erik Peterson, senior vice president of policy at Afterschool Alliance will address potential policy implications and opportunities. Join the conversation and share what you're seeing and hearing in your community!
