One in four U.S. children lives in an immigrant family, and mass deportation efforts—along with proposals restricting food and healthcare access—are traumatizing communities, tearing families apart, and uprooting children, most of whom are U.S. citizens. Rural, Resilient and Ready for School: Lessons from Nebraska Children and Families Foundation’s Community and Parent Engagement Initiatives
Funders are invited to join ECFC and Buffet Early Childhood Fund for a discussion on the importance of community and parent engagement in rural communities to develop more effective and equitable solutions that reflect local needs. Join us for discussion around three initiatives supporting young children, families and providers. The Grantmakers for Education 2025 Annual Conference will be held in Memphis, Tennessee, October 21-23, where we'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary. Preconference activities will take place October 20. Registration closed October 6.
