School District Finance Workshop

Edunomics Lab at Georgetown University

Virtual

With the end of ESSER funding, declining enrollments in many locales, rising labor costs, and slowing state revenues, school districts are facing deep budget cuts. Districts, nonprofits, advocacy groups and others will be looking for greater philanthropic support to soften the impacts.

This 8-hour workshop will provide program officers and grantmakers (and their grantees) with a better understanding of the perfect storm of financial issues facing school systems, and where their investments could best support students and schools in the coming year.

Format: Participants will join 4 virtual sessions: April 18, 19, 25 and 26 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET each day.

Price: $850 per person. Participants will receive a packet of materials ahead of the training. Materials will provide access to customized data and learning.

Group rates are available. Contact Jordan.Tollefson@georgetown.edu for more info.
