Young Adult Perspectives on Student-Centered Education
September 20, 4:00 pm ET
What do young adults who have been educated in K-12 student-centered, self-directed models think about their education now? Join us for a webinar with college students and young professionals that centers their lived experiences, insights and reflections. The panel will discuss how the skills and mindsets they built and developed in public Montessori programs impacted them as K-12 students as well as young adults in their college and career journeys. The program will also highlight aspects of these models that support more human-centered learning environments and whole-child approaches to teaching and learning.
While others are welcome to attend, this event is intended for members and education grantmakers.
There is no cost to attend this Grantmakers for Education program. Registration closes 15 minutes prior to the program time. Thank you for your patience; we review each registration in advance.
This event is cohosted by the National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector.
