Delaware College & Career Pathways Site Visit

Grantmakers for Education

Wilmington, DE

May 10-11, 2022

Join Grantmakers for Education on a learning tour in Wilmington, Delaware on Tuesday, May 10 and Wednesday, May 11. This will be an opportunity to learn about and experience high-quality examples of programs that are approaching college and career pathways in new and innovative ways. Participants will engage in discussions that focus on the practice, policy and politics required to make innovative, effective college and career programs work for students.

The visit will start off with an overview of Delaware’s Pathway Story, highlighting how they went from 27 to 20,000 students, and discussing where they are going. We will also visit a high school-community college partnership in Middletown, Delaware to engage with students, educators and employers and to see pathways within the context of this comprehensive district and state strategy. This visit will be hosted in partnership with Rodel and the PIE Network. EdFunders members will join PIE Network members on the site visit, providing optional opportunities for cross-organization learning and networking.

This event is open by invitation only and space is now full. Please inquire via Kyle Malone for future opportunities.
