These completion rates have intensified concerns over a widening skills gap, prompting calls to redesign postsecondary education through lifelong learning models that integrate strong education-employer partnerships. This research is the product of a unique research fellowship facilitated through Grantmakers for Education and the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE).
